Hullabaloo is run by Glenn Heaton and Geoff McGarvey.  The company has been in operation for the past sixteen years.  Here is a brief rundown of Glenn and Geoff.

Position: Director  Duties: Composer/audio engineer  

I started my career at the ABC as a cameraman and did that for ten years.  With the start of Hullabaloo I pursued my love of music. I really enjoy the music side of our business.  It's great fun.  But I also love doing other audio work, be it post or sound design.  I've always loved the industry.  It allows me to have a good mix of creative and technical.  I like using creative tools to bring a project to life, but even more so, I love starting with a blank sheet of paper and bringing an idea to life.

As long as you work with nice people (of which all our clients are!) or you get to use some creative juices every now & then, I don't think you can ask for much more in a career.  A highlight would be winning the "Best Music in Children's Television" at the Screen Music Awards in 2004.

Glenn

Position: Director  Duties: Composer/audio engineer

I firmly blame the Beatles for getting me into this predicament... owner of a studio. The fab four got their hooks into me at an early age and no other career really stood a chance. (Thanks guys!).  My career started at the ABC.  From the start I was involved mostly in audio post, although my training took me to all other production areas.

I love to write music and also love mixing, be it music or a television programme.  I also have a strong interest in new web technologies.  That has now become part of my job at Hullabaloo, creating new web projects.  It not only allows new ideas, but also the application of techniques we've been using for years in content development.

Both Glenn and Geoff believe that the customer comes first, and that their satisfaction is our main goal.
