Our Virtual Audio Post service is up and running and it's time to get your audio pumping. If your final audio mix comes straight out of a editing software, you need to get it processed. Smooth out the levels of your soundtrack, get more clarity, more punch, get it louder and be assured your technically correct for use worldwide.
Getting your audio mastered is good for any application, whether it ends up coming out of a three inch speaker on a TV or through a huge P.A. system for a special event.
Here's what we will typically do with your audio. Firstly, compression. This tool is one of the most useful of all audio processors. It smooths out audio levels making it easier on the ear and easier to hear. Next we may put back some of the high frequencies that tend to get reduced through transfers etc. This adds some clarity to the audio. Since location audio can vary quite a bit in quality, we used some equalisation to enhance each grab. Finally, we put the audio through a finaliser processor which gets the overall signal louder and allows us to make sure levels are technically correct.
It's not full audio post production, but it gives you peace of mind that your audio is technically correct and has more life and energy.
You don't even have to leave your office. Just upload your files to our ftp site, we'll do the Virtual Audio Post and notify you, then you download the new master. For longer durations, you can either upload mp3 files or deliver on CD/DVD. Let us fix the mix so you can get on with your work.
Our aim is for you to get all the benefits we can offer as audio professionals with a minimum of fuss and interruption to your work flow. It's also very cost effective for those productions that don't have the budget for full audio post. Check out the link below to get an idea of cost.
As we've said before, this service is not a replacement for full audio post production, but it will make your mix sound better and have a comparable loudness.
